Our lawn is worse than when they started.

We tried to work with this company to resolve a situation that we were not happy with, but every response seemed to blame everyone other than themselves.

In the Autumn they carried out an expensive scarification, re-seed, top dress and aeration package. However the grass seed in a number of places just didn't take - they blamed a lack of mowing (how that affects Sea Germination I have no idea) and kept saying it was due to high foot traffic near our swing - despite the swing not being used after their visit.

Their technician who visited in early 2026 even said that in his opinion they should not have done the work in the Autumn as the Garden was too shaded.

They did put down some "free seed", but additional top dressing etc was not covered and we had to do this ourselves to stop the birds eating the seeds.

Despite this work, and with daily watering, no use of the lawn, and the warm weather, we still have these bare patches - which we didn't have before they completed the work.

Every interaction with their Customer Service Specialist was defensive, and unhelpful. I fully expect them to comment on this in similar fashion, with more false accusations.

To be honest its their loss, as had they come back and repeated the seed and top dressing in those areas we probably wouldn't have cancelled their services.

Avoid this company - they don't make things better.

Will visited us yesterday to carry out scarification and moss treatment. An excellent service as ever, thanks again.

We contacted Shrekfeet to look at improving our lawns which has been heavily 'abused' by our dogs. David and Noah have just completed a number of tasks: scarification, nutrition, weed control, aeration and now seeding and top dressing. Weed control has worked from David's previous visit and now we await to see how the lawns recover from the seeding and top dressing. Both David and Noah took great care to ensure the four 750ltr bags of top dressing were carefully distributed over the lawns and ensure that the traffic areas to the lawns were saved from being soiled. A job well done gents - all we have to do now is keep it watered !!

Noah, David & Will carried out scarification, over seeding, aeration, top dressing - very professional, very friendly, very helpful, and didn't drink too much of our coffee!! Have always had good service.

Casey is always very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Our lawn was previously very compacted and we are working to improve the aeration in the lawn and the overall soil quality to make a visible difference. The lawn recovered well from the drought of the summer and I expect much of this is due to the care it has received from Casey.

We have given Shrekfeet a year to give our lawn a weed and moss free life. This is no mean task but the effort and guidance being given makes us very optimistic. The team (fronted for us by Casey Massingham) is certainly doing all they can.

I received really poor quality lawn Care which the new owners blamed on the previous Staff. However, since then the situation has only gotten worse. The new owners said that a lawn test was necessary in order to see whether the previous treatments were being wasted. They took that test nearly a year ago, said it had gotten lost and took a new test later last year. I still haven’t had the results but They tried to book in to apply more treatments! Yet by their own analysis they still don’t know whether any treatment is worthwhile and they no longer reply to emails.

Casey is always polite and explains everything he is doing with the lawn and why and he’s always happy to answer our questions and give advice. Lawn is beginning to look a lot better after significant leatherjacket problem.

Noah treated our grass today. He was helpful and informative and offered good advice on improving our lawn.

Will was most helpful with advice, identifying problems and and helping me plan future treatment. He carried out the work speedily and efficiently.

Will Jordan aerated the lawn thoroughly and was extremely helpful about a bad patch: courteous, kind and considerate. Thank you very much indeed.

Our first experience with Shrekfeet and we were very pleased with the work carried out on the lawn - aeration, scarification and over seeding. Noah did a good thorough job, having carefully explained what he was going to do first. Really pleased with the work undertaken.

Casey arrived first thing which was great due to my parking permit issues. It was good to be able to see him this time and have a chat about lawn care

Our lawn has been a disaster for some time, mainly due to it's exposure to the prevailing wind, poor subsoil and the drought. Casey and Ian came to thoroughly renovate it by scarifying, aerating, reseeding and applying topsoil. Under clear instructions we are now regularly watering. They were very knowleadgeable, hard working and thorough. Early days, but it is looking very promising.

David completed my lawn renovation treatment this morning. He was very courteous and took time to explain the whole process, including what I should do afterwards to look after my lawns properly. He worked very hard and tidied up the surrounding areas when finished. I am happy with the service which David provided.

David and Will visited us today, they have carried out a very thorough aeration and scarification process plus seeding so if the pigeons and the dog leave the seed alone we expect a good result

Noah came and gave my lawn its annual scarification. Excellent service.

David Fricker and his colleague did a very good job despite the wet weather. David is pleasant, professional and knowledgeable, offering good advice about the management of my grass. My lawn was badly in need of a thorough restoration and I am very happy with the work Shrekfeet have done.

When we came here 3 years ago the "lawn" was green with weed not grass. Ian gave us a very comprehensive guide as to what they could do both initially and then by regular visits. Since then it all looks splendidly grassy and we are very pleased. David is our regular technician and he is chatty, knowledgeable and seems to enjoy what he does. So thank you Shrekfeet.

Recently had it scarified. David on his own had a busy afternoon and attended to it all diligently. We now wait to see the results. But this year can anyone really beat the moss ?

I have no issue with the treatments. However the booking system is shambolic. Unless this, and communication, improves I will not renew my contract.

Met Casey for the first time today and what a very pleasant and knowledgeable young man he is. My lawn is suffering from lack of rain and he was able to advise me what would be the best for it. Much better to water it thoroughly once a week instead of intermittently. Looking forward to seeing an improvement in the coming weeks!

I’m giving this company 2 stars purely because they’ve always turned up when they said they would. Been with them just over a year, the only thing I wanted from them was a reduction in weeds. With 2 children and a dog my lawn is never going to be perfect but less weeds was the goal. This hasn’t been achieved (each app the lawn man only stayed max 10 mins from getting out his van to leaving as caught on my security cctv system so maybe this is why nothing has got better!) so I’ve now emailed them twice to cancel my contract and I’ve left them a phone message all with no response.
I’ve no idea if they’ve cancelled my direct debit and contract as their customer service is 0! Will contact my bank to check…more time wasted…

David came out again today to do a routine treatment. As always he is knowledgeable and helpful. Our lawn is on a bit of a journey because of lack of light/dogs etc, but it's getting better and we appreciate David's expertise.
